Paardenroutes & Sagen: riding the Central Veluwe (book, in Dutch)

Discover the Central Veluwe from the saddle. This beautiful book takes you along the bridle paths of the Veluwe and connects them with the rich tradition of legends that has grown up around these trails over the centuries. Please note: the book is written in Dutch.

Historians, photographers and an experienced storyteller combined their knowledge and stories into a unique reference work in which history, nature management and the Veluwe storytelling tradition come together. The book was made possible by a grant from the Veluwe Alliance and the inspiring horse lunches with the storyteller that grew out of it.

The proceeds of the book go directly to the maintenance of the bridle paths and the creation of resting places and facilities on the Central Veluwe, so that riding on the Veluwe stays attractive for future generations too.
