Frequently asked questions

Everything you want to know

Can't find your question? Course coordinator Pascaline is happy to help you at pascaline@humanhorse.nl.

Which course suits me?+
Do you want to train horses or teach? Start with year 1, the practical course to become a trainer and instructor. Do you want to treat humans and horses? Choose the guasha therapist course. Year 2 and the training days are for those who have already completed year 1.
In which language are the courses taught?+
The practical days in Kootwijkerbroek are taught in Dutch, with English support where needed. The home study that comes with year 1 is available in English. If you live abroad and prefer a programme in English, take a look at the international programme.
Do I need my own horse?+
No. Preferably you bring your own horse or care horse, but without a horse you can practise with our school ponies and horses. Indicate this when you sign up and Pascaline will look at the options with you.
Is the home study mandatory?+
For year 1 and the guasha course, yes. The home study is the theory basis and costs € 395 (method) or € 595 (both guasha studies). If you already own it, you only pay for the training days.
Can I pay in instalments?+
Yes. You pay by invoice and can tick instalments when you sign up. We agree the instalments in the confirmation.
What if I cannot attend after all?+
After signing up you have a 14-day cooling-off period in which you can cancel free of charge, in line with the CRKBO guidelines. After that the general terms and conditions apply.
