Four courses, one method. You learn in small groups of at most 12 participants, with your own horse or a school pony, guided by the teaching team of Greetje Arends-Hakvoort. Courses take place at the Academy in Kootwijkerbroek, the Netherlands, and are taught in Dutch with English support where needed.
International students are welcome in all courses. If travelling to Kootwijkerbroek for every training day is not realistic, the international programme combines the English home study with online coaching, live webinars and a few training days at the Academy. Private lessons and clinics abroad are possible too.
Learn to train horses and teach as a coach according to the Human & Horse Method. 10 modules in 6 months, on weekdays or at the weekend, with your own horse or a school pony.
Become a Human & Horse Guasha therapist in 7 Saturdays. Every module combines treating the horse with treating the human, from anatomy to scraping technique.
The follow-up training after year 1. In 9 modules you go deeper into liberty groundwork, fitness exercises, biomechanics and bodywork, tailored to you and your horse.
Separate 2-day sessions for graduated trainers, instructors and therapists. New modules, preparation for your auditions and themes such as liberty work and the neckrope.
All prices are per training day, including course material, workbook, stabling, lunch, coffee and tea. The courses are VAT-exempt.

Your diploma is valid for life and with it you can take out liability insurance as an instructor or therapist. During the course this is already possible.
Human & Horse Academy is a member of the Dutch Council for Training and Education and works according to the NRTO code of conduct and general terms and conditions.
Registered in the Dutch Central Register of Short Vocational Education. This gives you a 14-day cooling-off period after signing up, and the courses are VAT-exempt.
Accredited training company of the Dutch Foundation for Cooperation on Vocational Education, Training and the Labour Market. Vocational students can do their internship with us.
Officially recognised training institute. Dutch residents with a benefit or reintegration programme can have (part of) the course reimbursed. Ask Pascaline how this works.
Eight teachers and assistants, all trained in the Human & Horse Method. Greetje teaches in every course herself.
Developed the Human & Horse Method and was the first to translate guasha therapy to horses. Teaches in year 1, guasha and year 2.
