The power of Guasha lies in its simplicity
Guasha litterally means ‘scraping’ of ‘diseases’ due to stagnant energy. During a guasha treatment a flat instrument made of mineral stone over the skin to loosen and remove waste products. This way energy can flow again and ailments can diminish or disappear. Guasha in all its simplicity is very nice and relaxing for both relaxing for both body and mind.
An treatment improves breathing, disgestion, circulation, hormones and the immune system. Because waste products can be discharged more easily from the body, it is great for muscles in the recovery after training. But guasha also works deeper in the body into the organs, bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
We've made guasha therapy accessible for everyone
At the Human & Horse Academy, we developed both a home study program and a practical course. In our home study, you will learn how to safely apply guasha to support your horse. It offers you a complete learning program with video's of Guasha, Anatomy and Massage. All with the purpose to learn you how to pamper your horse and create a deeper connection.
